Association

The Silicate Manufacturers Association “White Masonry” was founded in 2012 by eight manufacturers of silicate products. In the course of our ten-year history, we have consistently and successfully implemented measures to increase the popularity of silicate products in the Polish market.

At present, the “White Masonry” Association brings together manufacturers operating under twelve brands, which in total include 26 of the 29 silicate plants in Poland. The Association’s members include all the key nationwide and regional silicate manufacturers.

The mission of the “White masonry” association is to shape and strengthen public awareness of silicate products as modern and environmentally friendly solutions that meet the expectations of potential users throughout the construction investment process.

The most important goals include:

educating consumers on smart construction solutions,
educating professionals, especially civil engineers,
product improvement measures,
participation in the lawmaking and standardization process.

Keeping in mind the growing expectations of the market and the welfare of the environment, we are placing an increasing focus on sustainable construction and reducing carbon emissions.

The association’s goal for the future is to intensify cooperation in the field of silicate materials production to the extent compatible with competition law, so that silicates can respond to market needs while remaining environmentally friendly.

The Silicate Manufacturers Association “White Masonry” is a member of four technical committees of the Polish Committee for Standardization. The scope of responsibility includes masonry structures, design of masonry structures, architectural acoustics and thermal protection of buildings. The association has also been included in the list of organizations participating in public consultations at the Ministry of Infrastructure and Development. It also cooperates with other trade organizations, including the Mazovian District Chamber of Engineers and universities that offer academic programs in construction and architecture.

The Association conducts its activities in accordance with the highest ethical standards. An internal compliance policy was implemented in 2020.
